Cove Creek Gardens is a public display
Garden which promotes the art of
horticulture and demonstrates the
Conservation of Water and Native plants
while providing the public with a Living
Laboratory for research,learning and
interaction with the Natural World.

The Principles of Cove Creek Gardens

~Share the combined academic and field practicum knowledge,experiences
of all Directors and staff with all participants in coursework,experiential
learning modules and written materials developed;
~Conduct all relationships with Staff,Board,Students and Faculty,
“Friends of the Gardens” Supporters,Members of the Brightwood
Neighborhood and the Public with respect,integrity and compassion;
~Build Partnerships with the Brightwood Neighborhood and other
community-based organizations and learning institutions to broaden the
impact and accessibility of The Gardens’ programs;
~Develop community outreach and teaching programs that support the
Mission and Principles of Cove Creek Gardens;
~Practice,teach and mentor responsible land stewardship;
~Demonstrate and share Water Conservation technology and practices;
~Conserve Native plants through propagation and inclusion throughout The
Gardens and greenspaces;
~Value diversity and ethnicity in our community by assuring the The
Gardens,facilities and programs serve people of all cultures,races,sexual
orientations,abilities and income;
~Be a supportive,responsible member of the community.
